Opportunity:

RN - LABOR AND DELIVERY

Job Details:

* 13-week seasonal contract assignment
* Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Rotating weekend schedule with alternating weekends
* No on-call requirements
* Patient ratio of 1:2
* Work on a 32-bed Labor and Delivery unit located on the 4th floor
* Day and night shifts include 1 charge nurse and 1 co-charge nurse
* Perform procedures including SVD, cerclages, C-sections, and TOLAC
* Utilize equipment including Novii, JADA, Fetal Pillow, IUPC, FSE, Toco, and ultrasound
* EMR system: Meditech
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE, intermediate fetal monitoring
* Must have EFM competency, SVE competency, and C-section circulation experience
* Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in Labor and Delivery required
* Internal monitor placement competency preferred
* Experience in a Level IV high-volume unit preferred
* Previous HCA assignment or employment preferred
* Dress code: Navy blue scrubs required; solid blue, black, or grey sweatshirts only; t-shirts are not acceptable

This facility is a high-volume Labor and Delivery unit with 32 beds and a dedicated staff of 150. The unit is equipped with advanced technology and modern equipment to support a wide range of obstetric procedures. The facility maintains a strong team-oriented environment with experienced charge nurses on both day and night shifts, offering a dynamic and supportive workplace for skilled Labor and Delivery nurses.
