Opportunity:

RN - Float Pool

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
* Full-time position
* Float to multiple units including Med/Surg, PCU, IRU, BHU, ICU, and ED
* Obtain and record initial patient assessments and establish priorities based on patient age, symptoms, and psychosocial needs
* Reassess patients systematically to identify progress and trends that require intervention
* Develop and implement individualized plans of care for patients
* Make comprehensive nursing decisions based on interpretation of facts and evaluation of patient outcomes
* Participate in patient and family health education and discharge planning
* Implement and document timely interventions appropriate to patient needs
* Perform various Point of Care testing procedures
* Delegate unit work assignments and coordinate team assignments based on patient and unit needs
* Function as a resource to visitors, physicians, and staff
* Required certifications: TNCC, CPI/De-Escalation, NIH Certification, BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA)
* Additional certifications may be required based on units floated to
* Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license required
* Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program required
