CT Technologist

Job Details:

* Night shift position working 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM, Monday through Friday
* 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week
* Operate computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic purposes
* Perform a variety of imaging procedures including general radiography and fluoroscopy
* Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients ranging in age from adolescence through geriatric
* Produce sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation
* Use PACS and teleradiology systems to correctly transfer images to appropriate locations
* Maintain accurate records, files, and billing information
* Ensure integrity of patient medical images and data while adhering to HIPAA guidelines
* Perform routine maintenance and calibration of equipment and manage supply inventory
* At least two years of recent experience in the field required
* Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred
* Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) or R.T. (R)(ARRT) required
* Radiologic Tech (RT) state license required
* Advanced Certification in CT modality preferred in CA
* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor required
* Fluoroscopy license required if operating fluoroscopy equipment
* Venipuncture certification required if performing venipuncture to administer contrast materials
