RN - L&D

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
* Labor and Delivery unit located on Floor 2 of the Main Entrance building
* Patient ratios: 1:1 for high risk labor and C-sections; 1:2 for antepartum, PPROM, PTL on mag, and postpartum on mag; 1:3 for postpartum mag with no baby and outpatients
* Equipment used includes Alaris pumps, PCA pumps, Monica Novii telemetry, and CPN (GE) monitor
* EMR systems used: Meditech and CPN
* Minimum 1 year of current hospital L&D RN experience required
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and EFM-C or AWHONN
* Preferred experience: circulating C-sections and high risk LDR experience
* Typical procedures include C-sections, inductions, AROM, IUPC, DFM, and Doppler
* Ideal candidate is compassionate, caring, friendly, patient, and solutions oriented
* Self-scheduling available with a team nursing approach

Facility:

This medical center operates a well-staffed Labor and Delivery unit with 26 beds and a team of 112 staff members. The unit features strong and supportive leadership, many tenured nurses with 20 to 40 years of experience, and a newly launched OB Hospitalist program that provides attending support to the residency program and nurses working triage. The facility fosters a collaborative team environment where staff members actively support one another.
