RN - L&D

Job Details:

* Work on a 16-bed Labor and Delivery unit located on the 2nd floor
* Unit includes 3 operating rooms, 3 triage rooms, and 3 recovery rooms
* Patient ratios follow AWHONN guidelines and may be 1:1, 2:1, or 3:1 depending on acuity
* Perform labor, delivery, recovery, triage, antepartum care, and circulate for C-sections
* Provide first hour baby care including breastfeeding assistance
* Work with equipment including Novii monitors, iMobile, headsets, pass-through skin-to-skin C-section drapes, deep soaker tubs, light therapy, and aroma therapy
* Use CPN and Meditech electronic medical record systems
* 24/7 in-house coverage includes Hospitalist, Midwife, Anesthesia, and Neonatologist support
* Minimum 2 years of L&D experience required
* Current intermediate fetal heart monitoring certification required within previous 2 years
* Current NRP and BLS certifications required
* Experience at facilities with 3,000+ births per year preferred
* Dress code: Navy blue scrubs, closed-toe shoes, tattoos and piercings covered
