Opportunity:

RN - Emergency Department

Job Details:

* Minimum 5 years of recent Emergency Department experience in a high-acuity setting required
* Patient ratio of 4:1
* 2 weekends per schedule required with no on-call responsibilities
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, CPI
* Experience with Meditech documentation system preferred
* Dress code: Royal Blue scrubs
* Perform IV insertion, medication administration, EKGs, splinting, and wound care
* Administer moderate sedation for procedures such as reductions or cardioversion
* Assist with intubation, CPR, rapid sequence intubation, and code response
* Provide care for stroke, STEMI, sepsis, trauma, and behavioral health patients
* Coordinate transport preparation for higher levels of care
* Conduct triage assessment and prioritization based on ESI guidelines
* Implement isolation and infection control protocols
* Complete documentation and reassessment in fast-paced environments
* Strong triage and critical thinking skills required
* Trauma and cardiac alert experience including care of STEMI, stroke, and sepsis patients required
* Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required
* Team-oriented with strong work ethic, accountability, punctuality, and compassion required

Facility:

This medical center features a 22-bed Emergency Department with a dedicated team of 55 staff members supporting both day and night shifts. The facility operates with structured staffing including charge nurses, bedside RNs, and ER technicians across multiple shift configurations. The department manages high-acuity cases including trauma, cardiac alerts, stroke, sepsis, and behavioral health patients, utilizing Meditech as its electronic medical records system.
