Job Details:

* 8 and 12-hour shifts available with times of 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM or 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
* Midshift schedule Monday through Thursday from 10:30 AM to 9:00 PM, plus call
* Weeknight call requirement of 1 four-hour call after a shift every week
* Weekend call from Friday evening to Sunday evening approximately every 5 weeks with two call teams alternating between first and second call every 12 hours
* No floating outside of the OR
* Green scrubs provided by the hospital
* Work in a 12-suite OR performing a wide variety of surgical cases including general, gynecological, genitourinary, orthopedic, neurological, plastics, eye, ENT, thoracic, and endoscopy procedures
* General cases include bowel, cholecystectomy, appendectomy, gastrectomy, hernia, laparoscopic surgeries, organ procurements, spleen, thyroid, tracheotomies, and I&Ds
* Orthopedic cases include scopes, external fixation, closed reduction, total knees and hips, ORIFs, and fracture repairs
* Neurological cases include ACDF, burr holes, craniotomies, tumor resections, laminectomies, shunts, and EVDs
* Will see pediatric patients in emergency situations
* Operate advanced equipment including Da Vinci Robot x3, Stealth, O-arm, and Holmium lasers
* Must have neuro and ortho experience as these represent a significant number of cases
* Must have robotics experience
* Must have proficiency in all areas including ortho, neuro, GYN, eyes, ENT, robotics, etc.
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA); CST preferred but not required
* Artificial nails are prohibited in all departments providing patient care
* Charting system: EPIC
* Trauma Level 1 facility
* Acute care setting

The facility utilizes advanced surgical technology including the Da Vinci robotic system and other cutting-edge equipment to provide high-quality patient care across general surgery, orthopedics, neurology, gynecology, ENT, plastics, thoracic, and endoscopy services. The organization maintains high standards for surgical team expertise and is equipped to handle both routine and complex surgical cases.
