Job Details:

* Epic experience required - hard stop
* Stroke thrombectomy experience required - hard stop
* Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
* Travel experience required
* Patient population: Adolescents, Pediatrics, Adults, and Geriatrics
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
* Required charting system: Epic; Pyxis and SBAR also used on unit
* Scrubs provided by the facility
* 4 rooms with an average daily census of 25 patients
* Call requirements: 3-person call team with 8-10 call shifts per month plus every third weekend rotated among the team
* Weekend requirements: Every third weekend, no more than 2 weekends per month
* Maximum of 7 days of requested time off per contract
* No time off requests permitted during orientation week
* If 1 or 2 major holidays fall during assignment, traveler is expected to work all of them; if 3 major holidays fall during assignment, traveler is expected to work 2 of them
* Major holidays include: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day
* Floating within the facility and scope of practice as needed
* Trauma Level II experience preferred
* Skills include: Interventional Radiology, Angioplasty, Carotid Stenting, Upper and Lower Extremity Angiography, Sheath Removal/Monitoring, Vascular Closure Systems, Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring, Blood Product Administration, IV Vasopressors, Cardioversion, Thrombolytics, PICC Line Care and Maintenance, Implanted Ports Care and Maintenance, Interpretation/Management of Dysrhythmias, End-Tidal CO2 Monitoring, Activated Clotting Time (ACT), and 12-lead EKG/ECG
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, Rapid Response Teams, and Pharmacy
