Job Details:

* Night shift position in the Emergency Room
* Option of 36 or 48 hours per week
* Every other weekend coverage required
* Self-scheduling
* 2 years of experience preferred, will consider less
* Previous travel experience preferred
* Patient ratio of 4 patients per nurse
* Scrub color: Navy
* EPIC documentation system required
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS - must be in hand at time of submission
* Ability to float to like units within scope as needed based on facility needs
* Skills required include but are not limited to: triage, IV placement and maintenance, interpretation of dysrhythmias, arterial blood gas interpretation, BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, procedural sedation administration and monitoring, emergency medications, management of ventilated patients, central line care and management, chest tube management, and care of patients across all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Valid Oklahoma or Compact RN license required at time of submission

Facility:

This emergency department operates within a large-scale facility with 38 rooms and beds, averaging 135 patient visits per day. The department is both a STEMI and Stroke Certified Facility, offering comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and social services. The facility serves a broad patient population spanning all age groups and provides care for a wide range of emergency conditions and procedures.
