Job Details:
* Monday through Friday, 5x8 shift schedule
* On-call required 2 weekends per month (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
* Option to pick up 2 additional days per week
* 1 year of endoscopy nursing experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Required certifications in hand: ACLS, BLS, and PALS
* Charting system experience required; Epic experience required
* Patient ratio of 1:1 for days, nights, and weekends
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Perform Pre-op, PACU, and procedure room nursing duties
* Assist with general endoscopy procedures
* Assist with advanced endoscopy procedures including ERCP, EUS, ION, and Bronchoscopy
* Experience with Van Gogh, ION, Cryo, advanced endoscopy scopes and associated equipment required
* Skills include administering and monitoring conscious sedation, airway management, colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, EUS, EBUS, bronchoscopy, sclerotherapy, esophageal varices and banding, electrosurgical units, lithotripters, polyp snares, specimen handling and labeling, starting and maintaining IVs, obtaining 12-lead EKG/ECG, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, and recovering monitored anesthesia care sedation
* Serve patients across adolescent, adult, and geriatric age groups
* May be required to float to like units within scope based on facility needs

This facility is a well-equipped healthcare institution offering a comprehensive range of endoscopy and procedural services. The unit supports a daily census of approximately 40 patients across 4 procedure rooms and provides interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more. The facility maintains a collaborative care environment with access to advanced endoscopy technology and equipment.
