Job Details:

* Minimum 4 years of Operating Room experience required prior to travel
* Travel experience required; first-time travelers will not be accepted
* Service lines include Bariatrics, Urology, Neurology, ENT, Oral, Plastics, Transplant, Ophthalmology, General Surgery, GYN, and Orthopedics
* Hard stop requirements: must have Neurology, Transplant, General Surgery, GYN, and Orthopedic experience
* Variable weekend schedule to be discussed during interview
* Variable call schedule to be discussed during interview
* Floating required within facility/scope of practice and to Outpatient as needed
* Patient ratio of 1:1 for days, nights, and weekends
* Patients served include adults and geriatrics
* 36 orientation hours required
* Maximum of 7 days of pre-approved time off per contract
* No holiday RTO will be approved; blackout dates include 11/23?11/29 and 12/21?1/3
* All RTO must be finalized at time of submission; no RTO or schedule requests can be made post-offer or onsite
* No RTO can be requested during orientation week (Monday?Sunday)
* Charting system: Epic (required)
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
* Required certification: BLS
* Required skills include but are not limited to: Craniotomy, Laminectomy/Discectomy, Lumbar Fusion, ALIF, XLIF, Kyphoplasty, Total Joint Replacement, Open/Closed Reduction of Fractures, Arthroscopy, Transplant (solid organ including Kidney, Liver, Pancreas), Cholecystectomy, Colon Resection, Hernia Repair, Whipple, Appendectomy, Thyroidectomy, Laparoscopic Assisted Procedures, GYN procedures, and General OR
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Phlebotomy, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, and Unit Secretary
* Georgia or Compact nursing license required at time of submission
