Job Details:

* Minimum 3 years of experience required; unit does not accept first-time travelers
* Travel experience required
* In-person interview is required
* Local candidates accepted at the same rate if residing within a 50-mile radius
* Every other weekend required for coverage
* No on-call requirements
* Floating within facility and scope of practice as needed
* Left-handed scanner required for this unit
* Maximum 7 days of requested time off per contract; all RTO must be finalized at time of submission
* If one or two major holidays fall during the assignment, the traveler is expected to work all of them; if three major holidays fall during the assignment, the traveler is expected to work two
* Major holidays include: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day
* High-volume structural echo lab performing TEE, stress echo, and complete TTE with use of Lumason contrast, 3D and strain imaging
* Serves inpatient, ICU, and outpatient populations
* Sonographers enter preliminary reports and maintain strong rapport with cardiologists
* Supports organ recovery center and spine center operations
* Performs structural echos including TAVRs, Mitral Clips, MVRs, TVRs, and ASD closures
* Required skills include: Adult Acute Care, Adult Outpatient, Emergency Department, ICU, 2D Echo, 3D Echo, Bubble Study, Color Doppler, Imaging with Contrast Agents, Pharmacologic Stress Echo, Transesophageal Echocardiogram (TEE), Treadmill Stress Echo, Simpson's Rule, Diastology, LV Strain/LV Volume, and Proximal Isovelocity Surface Area
* Equipment experience required: GE, Hitachi, PACS, Philips, Siemens, SonoSite, and Toshiba
* Charting system experience required: Epic
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
* Required certifications: BLS, ARDMS, CCI RCS, RDCS, or CCI RCS/RDCS equivalent

Facility:

This facility operates a high-volume structural echo lab that provides advanced cardiac imaging services for inpatient, ICU, and outpatient populations. The facility supports a wide range of complex structural echo procedures and is affiliated with one of the largest organ recovery centers in the Southeast, as well as a spine center. The team of sonographers works closely with cardiologists and plays an active role in patient care through preliminary reporting and interdisciplinary collaboration.
