Opportunity:

RN - PCU

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
* Provide competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards
* Coordinate and deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process in a hospital setting
* Demonstrate competence in care of patients with complex problems including physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety aspects of care
* Perform bedside point of care testing as required for patient care plan
* Organize and prioritize care according to patient and family needs
* Assess and anticipate discharge needs of individual patients and families
* Collaborate with patient and family to prepare or update the plan of care
* Participate in interdisciplinary team discussions for evaluation of patient care
* Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
* 2+ years of previous PCU experience preferred
* Required education: Nursing Diploma, ADN, or ASN from an accredited school of nursing
* Preferred education: BSN or MSN from an accredited school of nursing
* Active Registered Nurse license in the state of North Carolina required
* Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification (AHA or ARC) required
* English proficiency required (reading, writing, and speaking)
