Open Position: Scrub Tech - Scrub Tech

Opportunity:

TRAVEL - Certified Surgical Tech (701) - Days

Job Details:

* Work three 12-hour shifts per week from 5:00 PM to 1:30 AM
* On-call is required, averaging 5-6 weekday shifts and 1 weekend shift per 8-week sign-up period
* Call shifts vary from month to month, typically about 5-6 shifts per 4 weeks
* 13-week assignment length
* Work in an 11-OR operating room environment on the 2nd floor of the main hospital building
* Patient ratio is 1:1
* Perform total joints, multi-level spine fusions, and a variety of Da Vinci Xi robotic cases including GYN, colorectal, and general procedures
* Experience required with Da Vinci Xi Robotic, spinal fusion (orthopedic or neuro service), orthopedics including total joint arthroplasty, and neurology
* Must be a patient advocate
* Positive outlook and willingness to work with team members preferred
* EMR system: Epic
* Scrubs provided by the facility
* Required certifications: NBSTSA, BLS

Facility:

This hospital features a modern operating room department with 11 ORs and utilizes advanced technology including Da Vinci Xi robotic surgical systems. The facility maintains a 1:1 patient ratio and supports a variety of complex surgical procedures including total joints, multi-level spine fusions, and robotic-assisted surgeries. The department operates with a dedicated team of RNs, scrub techs, and surgical support staff, supported by a call team during night shifts.
