Open Position: RN - Med Surg Cardiac

Opportunity:

RN - MS

Job Details:

* 12-hour night shifts, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (weekends only)
* Work every other weekend and every other holiday
* Schedule may rotate between days and nights depending on unit needs
* Self-scheduling available, though days off are only guaranteed as listed on contract
* Primary unit is a 32-bed medical/surgical unit (6CD)
* Nurse to patient ratio of 4-5:1 on day shift and 5-6:1 on night shift
* Must float to any med/surg unit at any of the 3 Sanford Medical Centers in Fargo as needed
* Perform patient assessments, documentation, nursing tasks, and medication administration
* Utilize Epic EMR, Omnicell, and Alaris IV pumps
* Minimum 2 years of recent medical/surgical experience required within a large hospital setting (250+ beds)
* Cardiac experience highly preferred but not required
* Experience with Epic EMR required
* Active ND or Compact RN license required (must be willing to obtain if not currently held)
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA), NIHSS (must be willing to obtain prior to start)
* BSN not required
* Scrub color: Navy Blue
* Must badge in and out at facility
* Client may cancel up to 12 hours every 13 weeks

This is a Level 1 Trauma Center operating within an acute care setting with multiple locations across the Fargo area. The facility maintains a large hospital environment with 250 or more beds and offers comprehensive medical/surgical services supported by modern technology and equipment. The organization operates across three medical center locations within the Fargo area, providing a dynamic and collaborative environment for healthcare professionals.
