Opportunity:
Electrophysiology Specialist - EP Lab
Job Details:
* 4x10 hour shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
* Float to other campus locations required as needed
* Minimum of 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers welcome
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT, RCIS, RCES
* EPIC EMR experience required
* Required skills and experience: arrhythmia induction, cardioversion, insertion/programming of AICDs, left atrial appendage procedures, pacemaker insertion, and tilt table studies
* Preferred skills: cardiac ablation, cardiac mapping, and conduction studies
* Deliver direct patient care within a 9-room lab featuring 2 active EP labs performing ablations, implants, and LAA procedures
* Prepare specialty EP equipment for accurate and reliable diagnostic and interventional procedures
* Complete control room duties utilizing physiologic monitoring, EP-specific monitoring and mapping systems, angiographic/fluoroscopic imaging, and digital analysis
* Provide care in the circulating role during elective and emergency procedures
* Support EP-specific functions including digital archiving of studies and supply distribution
* Cross-train in multiple departments and assist in invasive lab functions
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, and Pharmacy
* Patient population: adults
* Patient ratio: 1:1
* Must pass a compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed)
* No local candidates within a 50-mile radius; valid driver's license required to verify address
* Active license must be in hand at time of submission
