Job Details:

* Work 4 10-hour shifts per day, Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
* 10-11 call shifts per month including weekends
* Call requirement runs Monday through Friday from 3:30 PM to 7:00 AM
* Weekend call shifts run Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM
* Holidays covered by call 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM
* Scrubs are provided - RNs wear navy blue and Rad Techs wear burgundy
* Cover cath lab and hybrid OR procedures including interventional cardiology, STEMI, peripherals, and device implants
* Required to both scrub and circulate/monitor cases
* Common cases include adult cardiac procedures such as peripheral, cardiac cath, PCI, and device implants (ICD, pacers - no EP or ablations)
* Work within a 3-person team consisting of 2 RNs and 1 tech
* Average 4-5 cases per day with a range of 2 to 9 cases
* Charting system: EPIC with Cupid and Xper dynamics system
* Telemetry: Phillips - unit is hardwired at the bedside
* May be floated to Non-Invasive CV at times to start IVs
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Cath Lab required
* Familiarity with ACIST injector and experience with IABP and IVUS required
* RNs: Required certifications include BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA)
* CV Invasive Rad Techs: Required certifications include BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), ARRT (R) verification, and WV License - RCIS not accepted
* BSN not required
* Active state license required for submission

This acute care facility operates a comprehensive Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology department with 7 suites, including 2 cath labs with 2 bays, 5 rooms, and holding areas. The facility provides 24/7 cardiology on-call support and offers a full range of adult cardiac and interventional procedures. The department utilizes advanced technology including EPIC charting, Phillips telemetry, and Omnicell pharmacy systems, with pharmacy and radiology support available around the clock.
