Opportunity:

RT - Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

* 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
* Inpatient setting covering all areas and floors throughout the hospital
* Treat patients across all age ranges from neonates to geriatrics
* Recent Level 1 or Level 2 experience required
* Perform EKGs, bedside bronchs, and bedside spirometry
* Operate respiratory equipment including Drager, Servo I, and Carefusion ventilators; Vision, V60, V30, and Respironics S/T BiPAPs; and Airvo2 high flow devices
* Float to different areas throughout the hospital in an RT capacity as needed
* Weekend requirements: every third weekend for day shifts, every other weekend for night shifts
* Rotate holidays with permanent staff
* 3 orientation shifts of 12 hours each provided
* Lead therapist present on each shift; will never be the only RT in-house
* Hospitalist or Intensivist in house 24/7
* Team scheduling with time-off requests of 7 or fewer days required upfront per 13-week contract
* Charting system: EPIC
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) via NBRC; RRT preferred; NRP and PALS preferred
* Driver's license required at submittal
* Artificial nails are prohibited in all patient care departments
* Radius rule: candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
