Open Position: Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist

Opportunity:

RRT - Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

* Work night shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM
* Perform basic and critical respiratory care services for adult and geriatric patients
* Assess and document appropriateness of prescribed respiratory therapy and provide recommendations
* Administer aerosol and oxygen therapy while maintaining patient charts
* Draw arterial blood gases per policy and physician order
* Provide care to ventilator patients
* Complete paperwork, electronic medical records, flow sheets, and charges for each patient
* Assist in department record keeping and operations
* Participate in training and supervision of new employees
* Must have EPIC and Neonatal experience
* Minimum two years of recent experience in respiratory therapy required
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS
* Oregon RCP License required
* Registered Respiratory Therapist (NBRC-RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (NBRC-CRT) credential required
* State Respiratory Therapist and Polysomnographic (RT-P) license required in Oregon
* Registered or Certified by the National Board of Respiratory Care required
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred
