Job Details:

* Work 10-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or evening shifts from 4:00 PM to 2:00 AM
* Every other weekend required, including both Saturday and Sunday
* No on-call required
* No block scheduling required
* Patient ratio of 7
* May be required to float to sister hospital emergency department to perform the same duties if overstaffed
* Work in Adult and Pediatric Emergency Room setting
* Conduct crisis risk assessments for adult and pediatric patients
* Evaluate patients suffering from mental health illness and substance use disorder
* Complete evaluations for level of risk for danger to self, danger to others, or gravely disabled status
* Provide level of care recommendations as a consultant directed by an ED attending provider or APP
* Perform biopsychosocial assessments, crisis intervention, and care coordination
* Must hold full licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) - associate license will not suffice
* Minimum of 1 year of experience required; 3 years preferred
* Hospital experience preferred
* Required certifications: LCSW, LMFT, or LMHC
* Epic charting system experience required
* Washington state license required; compact license must be in hand at submission
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* 2 professional references required covering 1 year within the last 3 years

This facility is a short-term acute care hospital designated as both a Level II Trauma Center and a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center with 629 staffed beds. It operates as a teaching hospital and provides comprehensive emergency services for both adult and pediatric patients. The facility utilizes Epic as its charting system and offers a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment supporting a wide range of medical and behavioral health specialties.
