Open Position: Physicist - Medical Physicist

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $8839.20

Opportunity:

Senior Physicist | 8hr days

Job Details:

* 8-hour day shifts with variable start and end times between 6:30 AM and 6:00 PM based on daily assignments
* 40 guaranteed hours per week
* 13-week contract
* No on-call, callback, or holiday rotation requirements
* Weekend rotation to be discussed with manager
* Float requirements include coverage at Gundersen Tomah Clinic
* Collaborate with senior staff to maintain the Quality Assurance (QA) program in compliance with national standards
* Evaluate and implement new technology and techniques
* Maintain templates, checklists, and therapy equipment in record and verify system
* Provide radiation safety education to staff
* Primary case and procedure types include VMAT, SRS, SBRT, and 3D planning
* Experience with Aria, Eclipse, and TrueBeam required
* Epic EMR experience preferred
* Minimum 5+ years of experience in specialty required
* Previous travel experience strongly preferred
* Required certifications: American Board of Radiology (ABR) certification in Therapeutic Medical Physics or American Board of Medical Physics equivalent in Radiation Therapy Physics
* Required education: Master's degree (Doctorate or PhD preferred)
* 2 current professional references required with profile submission
* W-2 employment required
* Teams interview with manager required
