Opportunity:

Perfusionist - CVOR

Job Details:

* On-call required, shared between 3 perfusionists covering 24/7
* Weekend rotation required, shared between 3 perfusionists
* 1:1 patient ratio
* CVOR cases are the primary patient diagnoses
* At least 1 year of experience required
* Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
* Required certification: BLS
* Epic charting system experience preferred
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* 2 references required covering 1 year within the last 3 years
* Required skills include: Acid-Base Management, Anticoagulation, Autologous Blood Salvage, Cardioplegia, CVOR, Flow Rates, Hypothermic Circulatory Arrest, Impella, Initiation of CPB, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP), Left Heart Bypass, Management of Power Failure, Massive Air Embolus, Off Pump Surgery Conversion to CPB, Oxygenator Failure, Set-up/Priming of Equipment, Temperature Management, Ultrafiltration, Ventricular Assist Device (VAD), and Weaning/Resumption of Natural Circulation
* Interdisciplinary support available including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, and Unit Secretary
