RN - Med/Surg

Job Details:

* Night shift position working 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
* 36 to 48 hours of work per week
* No specific color requirement for scrubs
* Minimum two years of recent nursing experience required
* Acute care facility experience preferred
* Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
* Deliver coordinated nursing care for assigned patients according to established standards of care
* Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
* Coordinate care with other disciplines utilizing critical thinking and independent judgment
* Collect and analyze patient assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues
* Develop and implement care plans, coordinate care delivery, and evaluate progress toward patient outcomes
* Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to deliver safe and effective care
* Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
* Delegate and coordinate duties of healthcare team members appropriately
* EPIC experience required
* Cerner experience preferred - please indicate if applicable
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (PALS preferred)
* Current RN licensure in state of practice required
