Open Position: Pharmacist - Pharmacist

Job Details:

* Day shift position working 4 x 10-hour shifts per week, 4 days a week
* Shift hours run from 6:30 AM to 5:30 PM
* No set days, with occasional weekend availability required
* Preferred 1-2 years of pharmacy experience
* Must have EPIC experience
* Must have Pyxis experience
* Current California Pharmacist License required
* Current BLS certification required
* Graduate of an accredited college of pharmacy required
* Hospital pharmacy practice experience preferred
* Residency training preferred
* Perform day-to-day professional pharmacy activities including compounding, admixing sterile products, drug consultations, and dispensing
* Provide drug information and monitor patient drug therapy
* Must be able to interface with hospital staff and public in a courteous and professional manner
* Must be detail oriented and able to protect the confidentiality of sensitive material
* Equipment used includes cell phone, general office equipment, computer, printer, calculator, and copy machine
* Position requires frequent bending, squatting, kneeling, climbing, reaching above shoulders, sitting, walking, and standing
* Must be able to occasionally lift boxes and/or supplies weighing up to 25 pounds
