Open Position: RN - Med Surg Tele

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2292.84

Opportunity:

RN - Trauma/Ortho/Med-Surg

Job Details:

* Work on a 36-bed Trauma/Ortho/Med-Surg unit on Floor 7A
* Patient ratio of 6:1 nurse to patient
* Every other weekend shifts required
* On call when census is low
* Must be located 50+ miles from the facility
* Required certifications: Active Nursing License, ACLS, BLS - ACLS must be obtained prior to submission
* Dress code: Ceil blue scrubs required; no sweatshirts, no crocs
* Floating may be required to units 6A, 3A, 3 South, and 4 South
* Operate and work with IV pumps, wound vacs, SCD pumps, Kangaroo pumps, chest tubes, telemetry, PCA pumps, BiPAPs, and epidurals
* Perform wound vac changes, wound care, IV insertions, and insertion of indwelling Foley catheters
* Must have med-surg experience
* Must demonstrate strong critical thinking skills and ability to work as a team player
* Prioritization and time management skills preferred

The Trauma/Ortho/Med-Surg unit is staffed with a dedicated team including charge nurses, registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, patient care technicians, and unit secretaries across both day and night shifts. The facility utilizes an electronic medical records system and is committed to providing high-quality, team-oriented patient care.
