MS/Tele RN

Job Details:

* Work 3x12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Patient ratio of 1:5
* Every other weekend required
* On-call required on a rare basis; if required, on-call is for the first 4 hours
* Float within scope to meet facility needs between like units or sister facilities if needed
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* Block schedule available upon manager approval, dependent on unit needs
* 2 years of MS/Tele experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license required
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
* Preferred certification: NIHSS
* Epic charting system experience required
* Scrub color: Royal Blue
* Parking pass provided at badge pickup at no cost; parking lots and garages available (garage clearance accommodates average SUV/truck only)
* Skills include cardiac telemetry, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, blood product administration, central line care and management, BiPAP/CPAP management, PICC line management, peripheral line care, wound care/wound vac, pacemaker management, high flow nasal cannula, pre/post cardiac procedures, and use of rapid response/code teams
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, social services, and rapid response teams
* Patients include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Previous charge experience preferred

This acute care hospital features 304 staffed beds and provides comprehensive inpatient care across a range of medical and telemetry services. The facility utilizes Epic as its primary charting system and supports nursing staff with robust interdisciplinary teams including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, and rapid response teams.
