Open Position: RN - Mother Baby Postpartum

RN - Postpartum

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour shifts from 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM on the Family Place unit, 5th floor
* Patient ratios of 3-4 couplets per nurse
* Day and night shift staffing includes 3 mother-baby RNs and 1 transition RN per shift
* Minimum 1 year of current Mother Baby RN experience required
* BLS certification required
* Perform circumcisions, staple removal, and newborn testing
* Work with equipment including CPN charting, infant warmers, bassinets, NELCOR pulse oximetry for CCHD, bili lights, and IV pumps
* EMR systems used: Meditech and CPN
* Flexible scheduling with self-scheduling options available
* Transition experience preferred but not required
* Strong patient-centered care and interpersonal skills preferred
* Positive, flexible, and hardworking personality is the best fit for this unit

This facility features a dedicated Family Care unit specializing in mother-baby and newborn care, recently updated with new technology and remodeled rooms to enhance patient experience. The unit supports a diverse patient population with the benefit of lactation support services and a positive, tenured staff. The team is committed to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care in a collaborative and welcoming environment.
