Opportunity:

Physical Therapist - Hybrid Inpatient Rehabilitation and Acute Care

Job Details:

* 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday schedule
* No weekends required, though Saturday shifts are available if desired
* Day shift hours
* 40 guaranteed hours per week
* Hybrid role providing both inpatient rehabilitation and acute care coverage
* Ability to float between Inpatient Rehab and Acute Care units required
* May float within the hospital or to an affiliate hospital nearby depending on volume and census
* Orthopedic experience preferred with comfort caring for patients across the continuum of inpatient care including Medical-Surgical, post-operative, and ICU populations
* Treat patient diagnoses including total joint replacements (hips, knees, shoulders), fractures with ORIF, occasional CVA, general medical conditions, and cardiac conditions
* Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
* Skills required include acute care, orthopedics, neurology, geriatrics, gait training, patient and family education, plan of care development, and functional mobility assessments
* 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
* BLS certification required
* Indiana state license required prior to start date
* Maximum of 7 days of requested time off; if time off falls during holidays, must be willing to work 1 of the 3 holidays

The facility maintains 26 beds and provides interdisciplinary support through physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and more.
