Opportunity:

RN - Progressive Care/Telemetry

Job Details:

* Work on D2 unit, a 20-bed inpatient overflow unit with mixed level of care including medical surgical and step-down patients
* Handle short stay patients with target 24-hour length of stay and quick turnover
* Patient ratios of 1:5 to 1:6 stretch depending on level of care
* Work with telemetry equipment - all patients hardwired to bedside monitor when telemetry monitoring indicated
* Use Cerner EMR system
* Every other weekend required, no call required
* May be required to float to other units if needed
* Day shift staffing: 1 charge nurse, 4 RNs, 2 CNAs
* Night shift staffing: 1 charge nurse, 4 RNs, 2 CNAs
* Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
* Must have telemetry competency and progressive care experience
* Recent progressive care experience preferred
* Dress code: Navy and/or white top, navy bottom, or all white scrubs
* Must demonstrate positive attitude, patient experience focus, kindness, compassion, and ability to work well with team
