Job Details:

* Work 3x12 or 4x12 night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Patient ratios of 1:6 to 1:7
* Every other weekend required
* No on-call required
* May be required to float within scope to meet facility needs or between like units and sister facilities
* Minimum 2 years of experience required; travel experience required
* Med/Surg experience required
* Telemetry experience preferred, including interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
* South Carolina license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start
* Scrub color: Royal Blue
* Charting system: Epic
* Free parking on site
* Patient population includes adults and geriatrics with a variety of Med/Surg diagnoses
* Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
* Attendance at staff meetings is required
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* Block scheduling approval can be requested prior to assignment but is not guaranteed
* Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June through November), all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams

This short-term acute care hospital operates with 97 staffed beds and 41 beds within the Med/Surg Telemetry unit. The facility provides comprehensive interdisciplinary support services and utilizes Epic for charting. The organization is committed to high-quality patient care and maintains a collaborative environment supported by physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, and rapid response teams.
