CT Scan Tech / Pediatrics

Job Details:

* Work Monday through Wednesday from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM and Thursday from 7:00 AM to 8:30 PM
* No on-call requirements
* Daily caseload ratio of 1.5:1 per tech
* Patient age groups include neonates, infants, adolescents, and pediatrics
* Must have strong pediatric skills and be comfortable working independently every day
* Siemens experience is required - must know Siemens Drive (Somaris 7)
* Trauma Level 1 experience required
* Children's hospital experience required
* Interventional radiology/angio/special procedures experience required, including paracentesis and thoracentesis
* Floating to other buildings on campus may be required when needed
* 1 year of experience preferred; first-time travelers accepted with relevant experience
* Required certifications: BLS, ARRT RT (R)(CT), ARRT Advanced Certification, South Carolina license
* Charting system: Epic
* Scrub color: Teal top and black bottom
* Agency must supply radiation badge
* Parking pass available for a one-time payment of $20 (nights and weekends only)
* Guaranteed hours subject to facility call-off of 1 shift per 2 weeks
* Skills required include: abdomen with/without contrast, chest with/without contrast, head with/without contrast, pelvis with/without contrast, coronary CTA, vascular CTA, brain perfusion, multiplanar reconstruction, musculoskeletal trauma, emergency department, PICU, starting peripheral IVs, preparation and administration of contrast media, and transplant studies

This facility is a Magnet-designated teaching hospital and Level 1 Trauma Center with 865 staffed beds. It operates as a Pediatric Level 1 Trauma and Comprehensive Stroke Center, offering a full range of services including routine studies, outpatient care, and interventional radiology procedures. The facility is known for its high acuity patient population and commitment to advanced clinical care across multiple specialties.
