Open Position: Dietician - Dietician

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2327.80

Opportunity:

RD - Registered Dietitian

Job Details:

* 5x8 hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM start times
* Weekend coverage required every third week with some holiday coverage as needed
* No scheduling requests can be accommodated and no time off requests within first 2 weeks
* 2 years of experience as a Registered Dietitian required
* Active RD/RDN certification required at time of submission - no pending licenses accepted
* Bachelor's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related field required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Proficiency in Epic and Computrition applications required
* Healthcare food and nutrition service operations experience or comparable experience required
* Provide direct patient care including nutrition assessments, reassessments, and nutrition focused physical exams
* Perform calorie counts, develop plans of treatment, and manage enteral nutrition and tube feedings
* Manage therapeutic diet orders, total parenteral nutrition (TPN), and protein calorie malnutrition cases
* Coordinate plan of care in conjunction with the registered dietitian and interdisciplinary team
* Provide patient education within scope of practice and oversee meal time mates program
* Contribute to fiscal management of food service operations
* Must be able to stand and walk for the greater portion of the assigned shift
* Must be credentialed as a Diet Technician Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration
* Strong organizational skills required including coordination of multiple projects within established timeframes
* Proficient computer skills required including working knowledge of Windows, Excel, and PowerPoint
