Open Position: CT Technologist - CT Tech

Opportunity:

Multimodality Tech (CT/X-Ray)

Job Details:

* Work three 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with every 3rd weekend required
* No on-call requirements
* May be required to float to like units within scope to meet facility needs
* Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
* Travel experience required
* Required certifications: ARRT Radiography (R), ARRT Computed Tomography (C), SCRQSA, BLS, ACLS
* Experience highly preferred in emergency, trauma, pediatrics, orthopedic exams in both modalities, Siemens equipment, Epic, and PACS
* Must be proficient in providing quality imaging and patient care within both X-ray and CT modalities
* Responsible for effectively explaining procedures to patients and ensuring competency in procedures performed
* Must produce images for interpretation and/or at the request of a licensed practitioner
* Charting system: Epic (required)
* Scrub color: Teal blue top, black bottoms
* Parking: Nights and weekends only; one-time payment of $20 for a parking pass
* Agency must provide radiation badges; facility does not provide radiation badges to travelers
* Serves patient age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* Special equipment: Siemens X-Ray and Siemens CT
* Key skills include 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, PACS, radiation safety, contrast media preparation and administration, venipuncture, and peripheral IV starts

Facility:

This facility is a Magnet-designated, teaching hospital and Level 1 Trauma Center with 865 staffed beds. The facility supports a wide range of complex patient diagnoses including STEMI, stroke/CVA, cardiac conditions, and trauma cases. Interdisciplinary support includes interpretation services and radiology, and the facility handles both inpatient and some outpatient procedures, serving primarily adult patients with some pediatric population.
