Job Details:

* Work 3x12-hour night shifts per week
* Every other weekend coverage required
* No call required
* Minimum 3 years of experience required
* Travel experience required
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Patient ratio of 3:1 for days, nights, and weekends
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC
* Charting system: Epic (required)
* Care for patients across all age groups including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
* Provide care in a combined adult and pediatric emergency department with 14 beds and 14 rooms
* Daily census of 34 with approximately 32 visits per day
* Interdisciplinary support includes respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
* Key clinical skills include triage, IV vasopressors, arterial line management, central line care, care of ventilated patients, procedural sedation, management of dysrhythmias, and blood product administration

This facility operates a combined adult and pediatric emergency department equipped with comprehensive interdisciplinary support services including respiratory therapy, radiology, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and interpretation services. The emergency department maintains consistent staffing ratios and provides care across all patient age groups, reflecting a commitment to high-quality, wide-ranging emergency care within a community hospital setting.
