Patient Care Manager

Job Details:

* Day/Evening/Night shift with primary day hours; occasional evening or night work may be required based on operational need (not full evening or night shifts)
* Variable shift length
* Weekend coverage per unit need
* On-call responsibilities required
* 18-week assignment length
* 1.0 FTE position
* Expected to float between both hospital locations as needed
* Responsible for ensuring department services and programs are child and family focused, clinically appropriate, operationally efficient, and achieve effective patient outcomes
* Directly manage RN staff and assist in leadership of clinical support staff
* Active RN license in Minnesota required (temporary or permanent must be obtained before start date)
* Bachelor's degree in nursing required
* BLS certification required
* 3+ years of people leadership experience required, or advanced degree in nursing leadership in lieu of experience
* Informal leadership experience preferred (charge RN, clinical educator, preceptor, etc.)
* Minimum 2 years of specialty inpatient experience required
* Skills required: Pediatrics, PICU, CVICU
* Travel experience preferred but not required
* Maximum 3 days of RTO may be requested
