Open Position: Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech CVOR

Job Details:

* Day shift position in a high-acuity Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)
* Four rooms run daily with operations maintained until 5:00 PM
* Call is required and averages approximately 10 days per month, including weekends
* 1-2 weekends per month and 1-2 weekdays per week of call coverage required
* First-time travelers accepted with a minimum of 1 year of experience
* NBSTSA or NCCT certification required and must be in hand at time of submission
* Scrub experience required
* Patients include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Daily case volume of approximately 6 cases
* Must be comfortable with complex open-heart and vascular procedures
* Required skills include: CABG, ECMO, Impella, TAVR, TCAR, EVAR, lung resection, robotic heart and lung surgery, and all cardiac procedures except transplants
* Additional skills include: Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm repair, Aseptic Technique, Carotid Endarterectomy, Endovascular Aortic Repair, Mitral valve replacement, TEVAR, VATS, Ventricular Assist Device, and sterilization/disinfection
* May float to like units within scope of practice as needed

The team operates in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment with a strong emphasis on clinical excellence and collaboration. The facility is traveler-friendly and runs four operating rooms daily while continuing to expand capacity to meet the growing needs of its patient population.
