Open Position: Cath Lab Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

* Work Monday through Friday with 8-hour shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM or 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
* On-call required 1 to 2 nights per week
* Weekend call on a 1:3 rotation with the option to take more if desired
* Holiday call required
* Call response time of 30 minutes required
* Monitor, circulate, and scrub cardiac and non-cardiac cases while assisting physicians
* Work in a facility with 4 labs including 3 cardiac labs and 1 EP lab
* Average caseload of 6 to 7 cardiac cases and 1 to 2 vascular IR cases per day
* Common diagnoses include CAD, NSTEMI, STEMI, heart failure, and aortic stenosis
* Experience with monitoring, circulating, and scrubbing cases required
* Proficiency with Cerner and Merge EMR/equipment required
* Hospital supplied scrubs provided
* Floating to other units may be required depending on locum coverage
* Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA)
* BSN not required
* All clinicians must clock in and out at the facility

Facility:

This acute care facility operates at a Trauma Level 4 designation and features a comprehensive cardiovascular and interventional radiology department with 4 fully equipped labs. The department supports a high volume of cardiac and vascular procedures with cardiologist coverage available from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM or until cases are completed. The facility utilizes Cerner as its primary charting system and maintains a structured scheduling environment to support quality patient care.
