Job Details:

* Day shift position with 8-hour or 12-hour shift options available
* Every other weekend requirement
* Every other holiday requirement
* No on-call or standby requirements
* No floating requirements
* Block scheduling available based on need
* Scrubs provided by facility
* Orientation shifts provided as needed
* Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
* Previous travel experience not required
* Previous nursing home experience a plus
* Required certification: BLS
* BSN not required
* Charting system: Point Click Care (PCC)
* Medication dispensing via blister pack cards
* No IVs or titratable drips
* No RN strip reading required
* Physician available after hours
* Day/Evening shift ratio: 1 nurse, 2-3 CNAs, and 20 residents
* NOC shift ratio: 1 nurse, 2-3 CNAs, and 40 residents
* Perform medication pass, wound care, Foley care, and ostomy care
* Supervise CNAs and TMAs
* Care for residents with diagnoses including COPD, dementia, Parkinson's, MS, and CHF
* Must have strong medication pass and supervisory skills
* Must be self-motivated

Facility:

This 38-resident nursing home facility offers private rooms and is attached to a larger healthcare campus that includes an emergency room, lab, imaging, pharmacy, therapy services, and a walk-in clinic. The facility operates as a post-level Critical Access Hospital care setting, providing long-term care services to residents with a variety of complex medical needs. The facility utilizes Point Click Care as its electronic medical records system and maintains an on-site pharmacy to support resident care.
