RN - ER

Job Details:

* 13-week contract assignment
* Work 12-hour shifts from 1:00 PM to 1:00 AM
* Rotating weekend schedule required
* No on-call requirements
* Patient ratios: 1:4 ED, 1:5 behavioral health, 1:3 cardiac/trauma
* Work in a 48-bed emergency department with private rooms, hallway stretchers, fast track, and behavioral health areas
* Perform procedures including splinting, EKGs, central monitoring, trauma assists, central lines, airway support, behavioral health de-escalation, and resuscitation
* Operate equipment including Alaris pumps, Belmont and Level 1 Rapid infusers, and Stryker stretchers
* Use MEDITECH EMR system
* Meditech experience preferred
* Trauma experience preferred
* Holding inpatient experience preferred
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, ENPC, TNCC, NIHSS
* Scrub color requirement: Navy blue for RNs
* Must be a strong multitasker, team player, and self-starter

Facility:

This medical center operates a robust emergency services department featuring 48 private rooms, 27 hallway stretchers, 9 fast track bays, and 5 behavioral health rooms. The facility offers 24/7 emergency care supported by a large team of skilled staff including charge nurses, PCTs, paramedics, and LVNs. The department is well-equipped with modern technology and maintains an active unit-based council and social committee, fostering a collaborative and engaging work environment.
