Opportunity:
Interventional Radiology
Job Details:
* Monday through Friday schedule
* Call required: 1 weekday call and every 4 weeks Friday 4:00 PM through Monday 7:00 AM
* 1 weekend shift per contract
* 16 orientation hours required
* Average daily census of 25 patients with 3 rooms and 8 beds
* Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Epic charting experience required
* Communication system: SBAR
* Scrubs provided
* Required certifications: ARRT R, ARRT VI, BLS, Ohio license
* Minimum 1 year of experience required; Trauma Level I experience preferred
* Must be comfortable performing abdominal and pelvic procedures including chest tube placement, embolization, IVC filter placement and removal, stent placement, and thoracentesis
* Genitourinary procedures include catheter/drain exchange, embolization, and internal/external biliary drainage
* Vascular procedures include TIPS and central venous access/port placement
* Venous access responsibilities include central venous access (non-tunneled/PICC lines)
* Equipment operation includes fluoroscopy and PACS
* Procedural responsibilities include equipment set up, prep access site, and scrub to maintain sterile field
* Must demonstrate knowledge of isolation precautions, sterile technique, and use of rapid response/code teams
* Interdisciplinary support available including respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, lift teams, rapid response teams, transportation, and unit secretary
* In-house 24/7 provider coverage includes intensivist, NP, CRNA, hospitalist, and anesthesiologist
* Floating to other units and/or facilities if needed is an expectation for all travelers
* Locals within 50-mile radius not accepted
