Opportunity:

RN - PACU

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour day shifts from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM
* 36 weekly guaranteed hours
* No weekend, holiday, or on-call requirements
* Float to sister units as needed for helping hands and on-campus surgery center as case volume shifts
* Minimum 2+ years of Pre-Op, Post-Op, and PACU RN experience required
* Epic EMR experience required
* Patient ratio of 2:1 in a 16-bed unit
* Treat patients ranging from 6 months to geriatrics
* Preferred skills include titrating drips, TAVR, and experience ranging from cardiac to procedural-based care
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS (AHA only), NIH Stroke Scale
* Virginia State License or Compact License required
* Scrub color: Navy, per dress code policy

Facility:

This facility is a well-established medical center offering a comprehensive post-anesthesia care unit with 16 beds and a 2:1 patient ratio. The unit supports a wide range of surgical and procedural cases, from cardiac to procedural-based care, and utilizes Epic EMR to ensure efficient and high-quality patient care. The facility also includes an on-campus surgery center, providing staff with diverse clinical exposure across multiple care settings.
