Special Procedures Technologist - IC, IR, Vascular, Structural Heart, and Neuro

Job Details:

* Support Interventional Cardiology, Interventional Radiology, Vascular, Structural Heart, and Neuro specialties
* Guaranteed 40 hours per week
* Block scheduling with attempts made to schedule as consistently as possible
* Weeknight and weekend call required
* On-call requirement: 2-hour callback minimum, 8 call days within a 4-week period, 1 call weekend every 3-5 weeks (Friday through Monday), 24-hour on-call Saturday and Sunday
* Daily caseload of approximately 15 patients
* Float within cath lab unit as needed; no floating to sister facilities
* Treat patient age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* Top procedures include Structural Heart (TAVR, Mitraclip, Watchman), IR, Neuro, Vascular, Cardiac, and EP
* Required skills include: Cardiac Implant Closure Device, Cardiac Stent Placement, Diagnostic Cardiac Cath Lab, Diagnostic Catheterizations (Adult), Equipment Setup, IABP Placement/Removal, Interpretation of Dysrhythmias, Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab, Left and Right Heart Catheterization, Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI), PTCA, Recognition of Life-Threatening Arrhythmias, Rotablator Atherectomy, Scrub Procedures, and Sterile Technique
* Most common equipment includes: Philips Imaging Systems, Philips Xper Hemo System, Philips IVUS/IFR/FFR, Boston IVUS IFR/FFR, OCT, Roto, Penumbra, Angiojet, Jetstream, EKOS, and Shockwave
* Charting experience required; electronic charting system utilized
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Required certifications: ACLS, ARRT R, BLS, and State License
* Maximum 7 days of pre-approved time off restrictions apply
