RN - Rehabilitation
Job Details:
* 3x12 day shift schedule
* Weekend coverage required with 4 weekend shifts per contract
* Self-scheduling
* Patient ratio of 1:7 for days, nights, and weekends
* May float to long-term acute care or other units in the hospital to manage med-surg patients
* 2 years of experience preferred
* Travel experience preferred
* Previous charge experience preferred
* LTAC experience preferred
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, and NIHSS
* Epic charting system experience required
* Care for patient age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Patient diagnoses include CVA, orthopedics, brain injuries, and debilitated patients requiring rehabilitation services
* Required skills include: accessing/managing ports, blood product administration, central line blood draw, colostomy/ileostomy management, CVA care, feeding tube care and management, heparin, insulin, isolation precautions/PPE, med/surg, telemetry, nasal cannula, orthopedic trauma, peripheral line care, phlebotomy, PICC line management, post cardiac surgery, pre/post hemodialysis management, pre/post neurosurgery, renal failure, spinal cord injury, starting and maintaining IVs, surgical drains, total joint replacement, tracheostomy care, traumatic brain injury, use of rapid response/code teams, and wound care/wound vac
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation
* Access to fully equipped therapy rooms and gyms with state-of-the-art physical and occupational therapy equipment
