Opportunity:

Acute Care OT

Job Details:

* Block schedule required
* Approximately 4 weekend days per month required
* No on-call required
* Position will float between units
* Treat adult and geriatric patient populations
* Work within an interdisciplinary team including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, Radiology, Social Services, and Rapid Response Teams
* Perform assessments, evaluations, discharge planning, home exercise programs, patient and family education, plan of care development, reassessments, safety and injury prevention, lifting and transfer, and telephone calls
* Utilize Epic charting system (experience required)
* Scrub color: any color; OR/Cath Lab scrubs provided
* No parking fee
* Minimum 1 year of inpatient acute care hospital experience required (hard stop requirement)
* Trauma Level I and II experience preferred
* Required certifications: BLS, NBCOT
* Oregon license required; compact license must be in hand at submission
* 2 professional references required covering 1 year within the last 3 years
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day
* May be expected to float between sister facilities nearby contracted facility

Facility:

This short-term acute care teaching hospital operates with 536 total staffed beds and a daily census of approximately 165 patients. The facility offers comprehensive interdisciplinary support services including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, Transportation, and Unit Secretarial support. The organization maintains high standards for clinical experience and utilizes Epic as its primary charting system.
