Job Details:

* Part-time weekend position working Saturday through Monday from 1:00 PM to 11:30 PM
* 0.75 FTE / 30 hours per week
* Block scheduling required
* On-call required with 1-3 call shifts per month
* Weekend shifts required (Saturday and Sunday)
* Patient ratio of 1:1 on nights and weekends
* Responsible for both CT and radiology exams during night shift coverage
* Perform routine CT and radiology-related exams including abdomen, chest, head, pelvis, cervical, lumbar, and thoracic with and/or without contrast
* Perform musculoskeletal trauma imaging across all patient age groups including neonates, infants, children, adolescents, young adults, middle adults, and older adults
* Preparation and/or administration of contrast media required
* Starting peripheral IVs required
* Must follow isolation precautions and PPE protocols
* Experience with at least one of the following imaging systems required: GE, PACS, Philips, Siemens, or Toshiba
* Epic charting system used; charting system experience required
* Scrub color: any color
* At least 1 year of CT Tech experience required
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Compact license must be in hand at submission
* Required certifications: BLS, ARRT R, ARRT CT
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* May be expected to float between nearby sister facilities; refusal to float may result in termination of assignment and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours

Facility:

This short-term acute care facility operates with 109 total staff beds and 96 patient beds, offering a full range of interdisciplinary support services including IV teams, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy. The facility utilizes Epic for charting and provides scrubs for OR, Critical Care, ED, and Maternal Child departments. The imaging department staffs both CT and radiology technologists, with a dedicated call team available overnight for additional support when needed.
