Opportunity:

Registered Dietician

Job Details:

* 8-hour daytime shifts scheduled 5 days per week
* Rotating weekdays, weekends, and holidays
* At least 1 year of experience in a variety of patient populations required
* Organ transplant and ICU experience strongly preferred
* Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
* Charting system experience required - Epic
* Required certification: RD/RDN
* Provide medical nutrition therapy for inpatients in specialized areas including ICU, transplant, critical care, diabetes, GI, nutrition support, cardiology, and other specialties
* Conduct nutrition assessments, documentation, implementation, monitoring, education, and reassessment of care plans
* Perform patient education, NFPE, and malnutrition assessments
* Care for adult patients with a variety of conditions such as oncology, kidney failure (on dialysis), GI issues, enteral nutrition, TPN, cardiac, liver, neurology, ICU care, and wound care
* Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
* Required skills include nutrition assessments/reassessments, enteral nutrition (tube feedings), total parenteral nutrition (TPN), dysphagia, diabetes, kidney disease, refeeding syndrome, protein calorie malnutrition, and nutrition focused physical exam (NFPE)
