Job Details:

* 12-hour shifts required
* Weekends required per facility needs
* No on-call required
* Block schedules not required
* 48-hour weeks approved
* Position may float between units
* May be expected to float between sister facilities nearby contracted facility - refusal to float may result in termination of assignment and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours
* Expected patient ratio of 1:6
* Minimum 2 years of experience required with at least 1 year in Med/Surg with Neuro track
* Travel experience required
* Epic charting system experience required
* Compact nursing license must be in hand at time of submission
* Required certification: BLS
* Required skills: CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), Isolation Precautions/PPE, Med/Surg, Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, Oxygen administration, Oxygen tanks, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Pre/Post neurosurgery, Spinal cord injury, Traumatic Brain injury, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams
* Scrub color: Any color
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day
* All RTO and specific scheduling requests must be submitted upfront during submittal
* 2 professional references required covering 1 year within the last 3 years, completed during compliance process and prior to start

This rehabilitation facility operates with 91 staffed beds and functions as a teaching hospital, providing specialized care across a range of neurological and medical-surgical patient needs. The facility utilizes Epic as its charting system and offers a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment focused on patient recovery and rehabilitation. Parking is available at no cost to staff.
