Open Position: RN - MICU

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $1947.72

Opportunity:

RN MICU

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* 13-week assignment
* Rotating weekend schedule required
* No on-call requirements
* 36 guaranteed hours per week with facility ability to approve 48 guaranteed hours
* 2+ years of MICU/MSICU experience required
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
* CCRN certification preferred
* Active RN Texas license required - temporary licenses will not be accepted
* Work with all ICU equipment including ventilators, NXStage, Arctic Sun, and GE Cardiac Output monitor
* Documentation system: Meditech (experience preferred)
* Perform procedures including central line placements, thoracentesis, dialysis cath placements, cardioversions, intubations, and other ICU procedures
* Patient assignments determined according to acuity and skills
* Floating required as needed
* Dress code: Royal blue scrubs required
* No artificial nails, gel, or next gen nails permitted - nails must be clean and healthy
* Hair must be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors, and must be pulled back if shoulder length or longer
* Body art should be covered whenever possible
* Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited, including nose rings and tongue rings

This facility is a large, full-service medical center offering comprehensive healthcare services including a dedicated Medical Intensive Care Unit. The unit provides high-acuity critical care services with access to advanced equipment and technology to support complex patient needs. The facility maintains strong clinical standards and supports collaborative, skilled nursing staff in delivering exceptional patient care.
