Opportunity:

RN - Ambulatory Surgery OR

Job Details:

* Work day shifts Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
* No weekends, call, or holiday requirements
* Facility is closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day
* Some late shifts scheduled each week to finish cases that are running late
* 6 operating suites in the department
* Common cases include GI-endoscopy, podiatry, cataracts, sports medicine, GYN, urology, small vascular, and general surgery
* GI-endoscopy experience is a plus; local monitoring experience is a plus
* Scrubbing is not required for RNs
* May need to perform GI and OR cases and could be asked to work at other locations, primarily the hospital OR on campus
* Charting system is Cerner; training provided if no prior experience
* Blue scrubs are provided by the facility
* BSN is not required
* Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA) must be obtained before start date
* All clinicians must clock in and out at the facility

Facility:

This ambulatory surgery center operates six fully equipped operating suites and provides a wide range of outpatient surgical procedures. The facility offers a structured and supportive work environment with a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, no weekend or holiday call requirements, and comprehensive on-site orientation. The center utilizes Cerner as its electronic medical records system and provides scrubs to all clinical staff.
