Open Position: RN - ICU

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $4846.00

Opportunity:

ICU/CCU RN

Job Details:

* Must be open to working any shift with no exceptions
* 80 hours every 2 weeks required with no exceptions
* Coordinate and provide individualized, age-appropriate care for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in the ICU/CCU
* Provide services for surgical patients or patients with serious respiratory and/or cardiac conditions requiring specialized ICU/CCU care
* 4-bed/4-room unit with a patient ratio of 1:2 depending on acuity
* If assigned 2 patients with one on a ventilator, a second nurse will be called in
* After-hours PACU recovery responsibilities included
* Emergency room experience recommended
* Orientation includes hospital orientation through HR and in-service, followed by unit orientation with nurse manager consisting of 1-2 day shifts then 1-2 night shifts with staff RN
* Orientation/competency binder must be completed
* Float to OB, MS, PACU, and ER to assist according to individual competency level

This facility is a full-service hospital offering specialized critical care services, including surgical and cardiac care, within an ICU/CCU setting. The unit provides comprehensive support for patients with serious respiratory and cardiac conditions and maintains a low patient-to-nurse ratio to ensure high-quality care. The facility also supports additional departments including obstetrics, medical-surgical, PACU, and emergency services.
